How to convert images – Files tab<\/p><\/div>\n

Start the program<\/p>\n

1) Click the FILES<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n

Click Add Files<\/strong> or Add Folder<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

Add Files:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This will open the Open Files<\/strong> dialog box.<\/p>\n

Select the images to be converted, then click the Open <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n

This will add selected files to the List of files.

Add Folder<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

This will open the Browse for Folder<\/strong> dialog box.<\/p>\n

Select required folders to be converted, then click the OK <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n

This will add all files from these folders to the List of files.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2) Click the ACTIONS <\/strong>tab.<\/p>\n

Click Add<\/strong> button and select required Action from the list (resize, rotate, crop etc.).<\/p>\n

You can skip this step if you do not want to apply special operations to the images during conversion.<\/p>\n

3) Click the RESULT <\/strong>tab.<\/p>\n

Output folder.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You need to decide where you want the files to be placed after converting.<\/p>\n

If you want the images to be placed in the same folder you loaded them from, click The same as input folder<\/strong> check-box.<\/p>\n

If you want to put them in a different folder, click the Browse<\/strong> button, and navigate to where you want them placed (fig. 3-a).<\/p>\n

Use the drop down list to select the Output format<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Clicking the Advanced <\/strong>button, will open the Settings <\/strong>dialog box (with specific parameters for each format).<\/p>\n

4) If everything is set the way you want it, click the Start<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

FILES tab<\/strong> will open, showing the files being processed.<\/p>\n

When it’s finished, click the Exit<\/strong> button, and close Able Batch Converter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now you can navigate to the folder you chose for the output folder, and if everything went the way it’s supposed to, your converted images should be there.<\/p>\n
