{"id":195,"date":"2013-08-29T22:42:08","date_gmt":"2013-08-29T22:42:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.graphicregion.com\/blog\/?p=195"},"modified":"2013-08-30T11:44:09","modified_gmt":"2013-08-30T11:44:09","slug":"how-to-view-tiff-files-multi-page-tiff-files-in-advanced-tiff-editor-plus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.graphicregion.com\/blog\/archives\/195","title":{"rendered":"How to view TIFF files (multi-page TIFF files) in Advanced TIFF Editor Plus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Program allows to view multi-page TIFF files.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"734\" height=\"551\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/adw0bvDm68s?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>On the <strong>File<\/strong> menu, click <strong>Open<\/strong> to open your file.<\/p>\n<p>You can use also &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>1) File | Load from URL<\/p>\n<p><strong>Load From URL<\/strong> command loads the image from the network using the http protocol, specifying the URL.<\/p>\n<p>2) File | Capture from Screen<\/p>\n<p>It allows you to easily capture anything on the screen including desktop, window and client area.<\/p>\n<p>3) File | Capture from Web-cam<\/p>\n<p>This command captures screen-shots from streaming web-cams.<\/p>\n<p>You can open files from MRU (Most Recently Used) list.<\/p>\n<p>To save your file, click <strong>Save<\/strong> on the <strong>File<\/strong> menu.<\/p>\n<p>You can also use the <strong>Save As<\/strong> command to rename a file, change extension or change the location of where you save the file.<\/p>\n<p>Use <strong>Save Pages as<\/strong> command to save (export) selected pages only.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>VIEW menu<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>When viewing images, there are a variety of options available to control how the image is displayed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best Fit<\/strong><br \/>\nScales the image that the entire image fits into the viewing window.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fit Page Width<\/strong><br \/>\nScales the image to fit to the width of the viewing screen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fit Page Height<\/strong><br \/>\nScales the image to fit to the height of the viewing screen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Actual Size<\/strong><br \/>\nDisplays the image without any scaling factors, using the actual size of the image.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zoom In<\/strong><br \/>\nZooms in on the image by one zoom step.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zoom Out<\/strong><br \/>\nZooms out of the image by one zoom step.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zoom Level<\/strong><br \/>\nAllows the user to specify their own zoom factors for both enlarging and reducing the image (zooming in and zooming out).<\/p>\n<p>Program allows to show <strong>Pages<\/strong> and\/or <strong>Thumbnails<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You can select:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>View | Pages and Thumbnails<\/li>\n<li>View | Pages only<\/li>\n<li>View | Thumbnails only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In a large drawing, you can pan quickly in a window that can display the whole drawing.<\/p>\n<p>You can use the <strong>Navigator<\/strong> window to change the view in your current view-port quickly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Magnifier<\/strong> command can be used for magnifying (enlarging) your images.<\/p>\n<p>On the <strong>View<\/strong> menu, click <strong>Files List<\/strong> to view all files (thumbnail) from the current folder.<\/p>\n<p>Click thumbnail in the <strong>Files list<\/strong> to open required file.<\/p>\n<p>On the <strong>View<\/strong> menu, click <strong>Ruler.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rulers are shown above and to the left of the image. Use the rulers to determine coordinates within the image. The default unit for rulers is pixels; use the settings described below to use a unit other than pixels.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>NAVIGATE menu.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>When a multi-page file is open, you have the following options to switch between pages:<\/p>\n<p>Pressing the <strong>Next Page<\/strong> item will bring you to the next page in the file, pressing the <strong>Previous Page<\/strong> item will bring you to the previous page in the file.<\/p>\n<p>Pressing the <strong>Page Down<\/strong> key (keyboard) will switch to the next page in the image file, pressing the <strong>Page Up<\/strong> key will switch to the previous page in the image file.<\/p>\n<p>Use the page drop down box (<strong>Go to Page<\/strong> dialog box) to go to a specific page of the image file. You can either type the page number in or select it from the list of pages.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>ROTATE menu.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Program can be used to rotate and flip images (selected <strong>Pages<\/strong> or entire <strong>Document<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Images can be rotated by 90, 180, or 270 degrees.<br \/>\nThey can also be flipped around either a horizontal or vertical access.<\/p>\n<p>On the <strong>Rotate<\/strong> menu, click <strong>Rotate custom<\/strong> to rotate an image by a custom angle.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>SETTINGS menu<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>On the <strong>Settings<\/strong> menu, click <strong>Users Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ckick the<strong> View<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Initial zoom<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fit Height<\/strong> resizes the image (zoom) to fit the height of the program window.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fit Width<\/strong> resizes the image (zoom) to fit the width of the program window.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best Fit<\/strong> returns the best zoom value to stretch the image in the program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zoom Filter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Zoom Filter<\/strong> specifies the filter to apply in zoom-in operations.<br \/>\nThe fastest way to zoom a picture is to set Zoom Filter to <strong>None<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If you need the best <strong>quality<\/strong> we suggest: Hermite, Bell, BSpline, Lanczos3, Mitchell, Nearest, Bilinear, Bicubic.<br \/>\nIf you need <strong>speed<\/strong> we suggest: Triangle, Linear, FastLinear.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thumbnails Size<\/strong><br \/>\nWidth and Height is the width and height of the thumbnails.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Window State<\/strong><br \/>\nRepresents how the form appears on the screen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Window Size<\/strong><br \/>\nSpecifies the height and width (in pixels) of the form.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mouse Wheel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can change a <strong>Mouse Wheel Actions<\/strong> (scrolling, zooming).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mouse Wheel Position<\/strong><br \/>\nIf Mouse Wheel Action is Zoom, Wheel Position specifies where the zoom acts.<br \/>\nThe default (Center) is the center of the control, otherwise (Mouse) zooms from the mouse&#8217;s position.<br \/>\n<strong>Mouse Wheel Invert Direction<\/strong> inverts wheel direction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Startup Mode<\/strong> allows to set the program mode at opening the file and at starting.<br \/>\nAvailable values: View, Select, Eraser, Text, Draw, Annotation, Measure, Current.<\/p>\n<p>Click the<strong> View 2<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p>Program allows to keep a list of most recently used (<strong>MRU<\/strong>) files. The list offers efficient navigation among opened files.
