I chose AVI Slide Show because it was very easy (and intuitive) to use.
I like the vast number of transitions, and the ease of changing these via the icon on the right hand side.
I like the preview function.
I found out about the program when I was looking on Google for an easy program to make slide shows for screens in our foyer. I also liked the fact that I was able to use it (up to 15 slides) without any watermarks to make some test slideshows in a hurry.
